Traditional Bharatanatyam training in Injambakkam

Nritya Kala Mandir offers offline Bharatanatyam classes in Injambakkam, following a structured and traditional learning approach. Training begins from basic adavus and body alignment and gradually progresses to theermanams, jathis, varnams, padams, and abhinaya.
Each student receives individual attention, with strong emphasis on laya, bhavam, posture, and discipline, nurturing both technical excellence and artistic maturity in a calm and focused learning environment. Classes are suitable for children, adults, beginners, and advanced learners.

ABOUT US

Nritya Kala Mandir is a Bharatanatyam dance school founded by Dhanushiya Vinayagamany in the year 2022, with a vision to preserve, nurture, and pass on the rich traditions of Indian classical dance. Students are guided with personal attention, encouraging not only artistic excellence but also deep cultural understanding.

The founder, Dhanushiya Vinayagamany, has been learning Bharatanatyam since the age of six. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Bharatanatyam and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, and has also completed a Diploma in Nattuvangam, bringing together artistic depth, academic grounding, and rhythmic mastery in her teaching approach.
Nritya Kala Mandir conducts offline classes for students from Neelankarai, ECR, Pallavakkam, and Kottivakkam, creating a focused and supportive learning environment. In addition, the school offers online classes worldwide, making authentic Bharatanatyam training accessible to students across the globe. Nritya Kala Mandir welcomes children, adults, beginners, and advanced learners, inspiring each student to experience the beauty, discipline, and devotion of Bharatanatyam.
